Sharing this, because it seems an interesting lesson.
I am teaching E-safety to my pupils at the moment and wanted to try a little experiment. Please share this photo and see how far it gets, I want to show my students how easily photos etc can go viral, even when you may not want them to. Share it and see how far it goes!

First, I don’t believe I saw any age-group for this ‘student’ experiment. The person in the photo could be middle school, high school, or even young college aged. Any of those age groups, without being Amish or hermits, have been either to school or on the internet, and so have seen and/or heard ‘fuck’ before. Second, I see no stipulations on how I am to share the image. If I so choose to use a curse, especially if it fits my more casual postings on my own blog, then so be it. Finally, if you have a problem with such language for yourself or your children, I suggest you find yourself another internet. Oh wait, there’s only one. So get over it.

Excellent lesson!
And many people see it who will NOT comment OR reblog OR “like”…so the #’s are not a true indicator…they would be much higher. Which makes it very sad and scary if it is something you wouldn’t want so many people (people you don’t know) to see or read.

This is an excellent lesson. Unfortunately, a photo such as this is even more dangerous than most people realize. Here’s an experiment: Take a picture using your cellphone or tablet and upload it to your computer. Then, google EXIF viewer or if you have a Mac just use Preview. Then pull an EXIF report on the picture you just took. You’ll notice that it gives you a longitude and latitude reading. Input that into Google… You’ll notice the exact location you took that photograph at will appear in maps. It may be your home, your school, your work. This is something that anyone in the world who sees your picture online can do. They can pull this information and suddenly they no longer just have your photo. They have your address, and from that they can get your name, your life story and some pretty penetrating information. Fortunately Facebook has implemented software to prevent this information from tagging in photos. However, the majority of social media platforms do not and without knowing it, anyone can find you.

The point is this: Until women stop engaging in double standards regarding domestic violence by condemning men while giving women who abuse and outright murder both their intimate partners and children a free pass and celebrating them as hero’s – then I will not allow myself to consider indulging in the slightest bit of compassion towards any woman who claims to be a victim of domestic violence. The fact that no response came after that last post shows they were in fact a troll chucking the same opinion anywhere… wherever it isn’t relevant…. the point of this is very interesting… im intrigued how youre going to know how far it gets? Surely that then defeats your e-safety because one of the biggest dangers is you don’t know where it ends up or who sees it.
